Dr. Praveen Vemula is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician with more than 25 years of experience and brings a rare combination of hands-on clinical expertise and system-level leadership to PrimeHealthPlus Medical Center. Board-certified and fellowship-recognized (FACP, SFHM), along with a Master's in Public Health, he is known for his precise, evidence-based approach to diagnosis and care planning, grounded in years as a frontline clinician.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Vemula has built a career around raising the bar for clinical care across large health systems. He leads clinical quality, physician advisor, and population health programs spanning a dozen hospitals and more than twenty ambulatory sites, where he trains and mentors physicians on evidence-based decision-making and quality standards. His work sits at the intersection of clinical excellence and measurable outcomes, using rigorous case review and physician education to ensure every patient receives care that is both medically sound and appropriately delivered. He has authored multiple first-author publications, including work published in the American Journal of Cardiology and research indexed on PubMed/NIH, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing the evidence base behind everyday clinical practice.
